hi guys, i have stripped the basic parts of my sierra saphire for my car, but is there any bits i should also remove before it goes to the scrap yard, has any one alist of parts required from the donor ??

I'm pretty sure that there have been other questions on this topic. I used lots of odds and sods (from a Metro, but the principle is the same)

I could add:

header tank

any useful looking brackets

Seat belt end covers - may help to SVA-protect harness triangles.

Seat belt bolts/top hat spacers - I used spacers as they were bigger than the ones that came with my harness bolts

Important : Identification plates from under bonnet front cross-member. Angle grind out chassis number from floor by drivers seat ,(under plastic flap on mine) It has been said number plates but can't see why particularly. Steering column mounting where it passes through bulkhead.

Yep I forgot the mid mounting where the steering column passes though the bulk head. But then the bush was knackered on the column shaft and a replacement kit is only £3.50 + post on ebay.

Wiring and keep some rubber door or boot seals. They will come in handy for SVA padding around the dash.
