Sierra steering column
This is probably a really stupid question but how do you get the cowling off a sierra steering column. I have undone the 3 screws underneath but it
still won't come off and I can't see anything else to undo. I don't want to force it for fear of breaking something. I just need
access to the ignition cables.

There is also a screw in the top next the hazard switch, the two halves do click together but once all the screws are out it should rattle about and
part.

If you've removed the three screws (two on the bonnet release catch and one at the front) just give it a wiggle and it should pull off. The top
half of the cowl can be left in place, as can the steering wheel.

Got it sorted. The 2 bolts for the redundant bonnet release were holding the cowling on.....doh
