p100 pickup axle

hi at a scrapyard by me theres a p100 pickup with a good axle and prop would this be any good for a locost.

Not sure the stud pattern will be ok - I think they are 5 stud.

The width may be an issue - you need to measure it

The ratio might be quite good if you are putting a car engine in - commercial vehicles tend to have a low ratio which will give quicker acceleration.

Trouble with the P100 is the weight as the walls are very thick, it will work, but there are much better alternatives.

definately a 5 stud wheel required, kind of limits things a lot if your using cortina or sierra front hubs.
