damper spring adjustment

Thouight I'd start the new week off with a really daft question.

If I adjust the seat that the spring sits on up to compress the spring more then the car will be lower to the ground?

I've got some height settings off Nick205 and my car is sitting noticeably higher which probably explains why I'm having so much fun trying to fit the rear arches

Am I right with this asumption?

Thanks in advance

'tis t'other way round Lowering the spring seat will lower the ride height but it is worth remembering that the springs will settle over the first few weeks on the road, so your ride height will drop too.
