Self Centre Issues

Like so many others I seem to have little or no self centreing. What is a reasonable toe-in?

Can someone advise this as the approximate difference in millemeters between the rear distance and the front distance between wheel rims or tyres?

I have standard escort rims and standard 155 13s on for the SVA

If yours is a book locost and you made your own top wishbones, I'd strongly recommend that you make another pair with the correct back-set built in.

The standard design puts the centre of the top joint about 14mm behind the bottom one. If this is set further back to 22-25mm then your castor is pretty much correct and self-centering just happens naturally.

Much better than faffing about! Makes driving much nicer as well.
