handbrake positioning

hi everyone,
just wanted to ask although I reckon its a quick answer about the handbrake..
im going to fit the handbrake this weekend hopefully, just wanted to check whether anyone has any issues with where the handle fits. is it completely central or to one side, just thinking about the cabling and whats best for that, and whats best for the driving experience...
Think I heard once that they have to be inline with the two hoops on the other bit of the chassis, immediately behind the panel for the handle brake.

Many thanks

By coincidence, I'm just back from the garage, having trial fitted the handbrake.

I looked at a few pictures of other builds and they seemed to put the handbrake central between the two rails.

So that's what I did
