caliper carrier or as mine are one of the studs on both carriers appears to be either seixed or designed that way just want to clear this up before i
break it trying to free something that is not designed to be free cheers

Sierra calipers??
If your talking about the slide bolts that hold the caliper onto the carrier they should unscrew from the carrier and slide in and out of the caliper.

Heat heat and more heat, making sure theres no brake fluid in them first. You'll need a full overhaul kit afterwards too, the seals will all
melt..

Remove caliper(s) from carrier(s) [13mm bolt spanner size and 15mm (irrc) for the slide pin].
Remove rubber dust covers (new ones quite often come with recon calipers).
Use electrolitic/electrolosis bath on carriers.
Remove from bath remove pins, clean & repaint as neccessary. Reassemble/refit as required.
