diff question

do torsen lsd,s wear out? ive bought a supra for drifting and im struggling to see how the diff works. i jacked the back up and if i turn one wheel slowly the other turns with it, running the engine in first gear i can put a bar under one wheel and stop it turning.iirc the torsen is a bit like the quaife atb ,it does work as ive been smoking it round today and left a pair of lines coming out of roundabouts but it seems to do it when it feels like it .as its a gear system do they wear out?

If its an ATB type LSD then by defenision it's Automatic Torque Bias therfore it works when it needs to so very difficult to feel anything when there is no torque through it.
Drifting needs almost a locked diff, often using plate diffs that can be set up from very light to almost locked.
ATB's work very well and will be good for the road and track but may not be ideal for core driffting.
