wheel size

hi i am after some wheels for my bec locost it is running standard front and rear sierra discs what is the smallest wheel i can get in and what will the offset be also is there anyone near me (stoke) that is building a locost that wouldnt mind me having a look at a build as this is my first and any help/advice would be much appreciated thanks adam

13" wheels will be a gamble, depends on make as to iff they will fit. I have genuine minilite performance ones and had to relieve the caliper. You will need to try before you buy on this size. This only goes for the rear caliper, I have billet 4 pot fronts.

4x4 sierra's had 14" steel rims so this is probally the most practical out of the bix size.

IMHO its worth the pain of 13" wheels, you will save a lot of money in tyres in the long run and have a better selection to choose from including cheap second hand slicks.
