Struts to Coil-overs - Thoughts Please!

Hi,

I've got struts fitted to the Sierra up-rights on the front of my project but ideally want more adjustment of camber etc.
I'm thinking keep the bottom arm and up-right and fit a new top wish-bone with associated brackets and the 'mushrooms' in the up-rights.
Is it feasible/possible to mount the coil-over to the top wish-bone???
I can modify the strut mount on the chassis to take the other end of the coil-over.
Hope this makes sense, bit early on a sunday for me..........

Thanks for any advice

Cheers

It's feasable but not using the standard locost upper wishbone design IMO. The Transit drag link end is not really suitable for supporting the weight of the car, but you could re-design the wishbone to use something like a Maxi or Metro balljoint which is designed to be used like this.
