FEDERAL SS595RS

Been trying to source some Hankook rs-2 tyres today and it turns out they are due back in the country in June .... so my thoughts are turning to the FEDERAL SS595RS , sold by Camskill . has anybody tried them ? Camskill say they are very similar to the rs2 in that they are more road biased than the toyo 888 or Yoko Oh No's . Thing is I never wanted ultimate grip but likewise I can see me fitting a normal road tyre and chucking them away half worn 6 years later because of perishing . Camskill say they may last for 5-6k on a light car which to be honest is likely to last me a couple of years . any thoughts greatly apreciated

Cheers all

Got these on my tin top. FTO and love them, had toyo proxes before and whilst they where ok in the dry they where rubbish in the wet. Federals are good in both wet and dry, and when warm are really good. Just my 2p.

No they are the road version, but if they are anything to go by then a semi slick should be good.
