New dash complete
flak monkey - 12/10/07 at 06:54 AM

Spent the past week of evenings on the first major post SVA mod. Pretty pleased with the result, think it looks much better than the other dash I had.

Unfortunately the pics arent the best due to a serious lack of light at 9pm last night.

Just need to get my new mirrors and aeroscreen fitted now, hopefully get them dont this weekend.

Is your bright 6 not obscured by the steering wheel???

02GF74 - 12/10/07 at 07:17 AM

ooooh nice - is it real carbon fiber?

I notice the key fob sits nicely between those 2 toggle switches - I reckon 3 miles before the rattling drives you bonkers!

speedyxjs - 12/10/07 at 07:53 AM

Oooooh Very nice
How much was you digital dash?

Thanks chaps

Bright 6 visible though bottom quarter of wheel .

You cant hear any rattles over the exhaust and wind noise

No its not real carbon

Dash is an AIM MXL Pro. They are about £1800. Dataspares are the UK distributor.

I never cease to be impressed by your work--especially considering you're a student. Again, well done.

Indicator switch is on the left side of the steering wheel, along with fan, fog lights, hazards and start button.

Thanks Chris Sadly I can no longer call myself a student, as I graduated this summer Into full time working now
