seat runners

hi all, ive got some triton seats and want to fit some seat runners, read on here that you can use the metro seat runners. I went to the scrapyard today and there was a 5 door metro there, i took the seats out but the seat runners seemed to be attached to the rest of the seat, do you have to modify them, if so how do you do it. Are there any more seat runners you can use from another car as that was the only metro there. cheers

Re the Metro ones:

I found that I had to grind off a couple of points connecting the side of the seat to the runners

To modify the width, I cut a section out of the release handle and refixed it with Araldite and a sleeve that went over the cutoff ends.
