i have one of the 1.9 TDI engines in my skoda, at well over 150k miles its still excellent.
One of the best engines I have driven, and gets me well over 50 miles per gallon
120k miles is nothing for these engines.

Not sure what's up with Coozer??
Here's just my 2p worth. I have an 02 A6 Avant Quattro Sport 2.4 V6.
It's honestly the best car I've ever had. It just keeps going and going. I do all the work on it myself and keep it serviced with decent
oil/oe filters & good tyres. I've done 60k in the last 3 years and it has never missed a beat.
The mileage is now 150k but you'd not know it to look at or drive.
I thought the days of negative responses in sale ads was confined to the days of CalvinX.

My passat estate i sold last year had done 188k and never missed a beat. i did 30k in a year no problems. If theyv been serviced etc its no
different to doing the same mileage over more years. Id rather buy a high mileage car as you know its good for it.

strange to see on a car builders forum some one who knows nothing about cars!
120 sat at 80mph or 2000rpm is nearly run in.

Your right, that's why I'm an engineer in a car plant
Few things come to mind....
Abuse
Fretting
Corrosion
Vibration

luckily none of them have had a negative impact on this
In all seriousness it was a stupid pointless comment(s) you made and not in the spirit of LCB.
Best thing to do would be delete them, as an engineer you'll know is engine does about 300k easily and is one of the most proven derv motors
around.

People of a certain age are a bit scared of any car with a milage of over 100k, personally I'd prefer a big mileage motorway car to a low
mileage town car
You can see from the interior pics of the Audi it hardly looks used, I've seen interiors of cars with a quarter of that mileage look more worn
BTW your ad says you'll post to the US, you'll need a fair few stamps...

as long as the buyer pays for it!
You can tell the car's like new, some people just aren't aware of what these things cost or sell for. Like you say a car that does 25k a
year isn't driving round town its sat cruising on the motorway. I'd never buy a car like this with a low number of miles on as
A) it'd be over 10k for this with 70k on the clock
B) any teething troubles have been sorted by this point.
You know what they say about opinions, they're like arseholes. Everyones got one. Some people are better off doing some research before
letting one off

I had an A6 1.8T estate and chopped it in at 165k miles and that was only because I fancied something else (BMW 330). It had a full Audi history and I
felt it would have gone on and on. The secret is having a full service history and all repairs done along the way. The quality of these cars is
exceptional - IF you look after 'em...
