padded seats for haynes roadster?

hi im looking for some seats to go in my haynes roadster build (+runners and belts)
the boss (wife) has said she is not alowing me to have seats that are plain grp and must have padding (like mamba L7)
have rang kitparts sevral times and left messages in the past and dont seem botherd in my money so im looking for a alternative.
a good set of seats new or form a doner if anyone knows of anything narrow enough to fit im not sure if mx5 ones are a fit?
also want some 4 point harness (iva ok) and runners to suit seat
anyone able to help or point me in the right direction?

I think the book says that Mx-5 seats should fit? (I may be wrong)

Unless you particularly want "real" seats, you can put padding onto the GRP seats, either as pre-made sets à la JK Composites, or make your own out of camping mat foam

Mine are second-hand westfield seats off ebay - cost £160 plus £13 courier - super comfy! But you need to get lucky

Beware , there are some dodgy Cobra 7 seat copies about. If I was buying new seats I would go for some of Tritons even if they are GRP. Get the boss to try some before she rejects them.

Lotus Elise seats might fit the bill if you can get some at the right price.
