MK Indy Bonnet Length?
I was certain someone asked this Q previously, but haven't been able to find it.
So, guys, what is the length dimension, measured along the chassis rails?
I'm using MK scuttle and nosecone, so I need to check if I can also use their bonnet!
Work-in-Progress: Changed to Zetec + T9. Still trying!!

Mine is 880mm along the chassis rail edge.

On a similar vain could someone please tell me how wide the chassis is (outside to outside) at the front end of the bonnet, eg the point where the
bonnet meets the nose cose.

Thanks Toady, but I really need a black one.If its lying around I'd still appreciate a measurement of how wide it is at the bottom of the front
edge.

I'd really appreciate the answer to this too. I need to know the width of the mk bonnet at the font and back to see if it will fit onto my
chassis. If anyone can measure a spare bonnet they might have or ideally their mk indy chassis width outer to outer where the bonnet meets the nose
and also where it meets the scuttle.

Front chassis 67cm, rear 96cm. The bonnet will easily flex 20mm either side of these dimensions.
If the front panel of the scuttle is cut out, both the scuttle and rear of nose cone will flex easily by 12-25 mm
This may help in fitting:

Thanks 40inches, just the info I needed. My bonnet arrives from mk next week so need to have a play with it and see if it will fit. Otherwise I may
look at a gkd bonnet to go with the rest of the car.

I have a spare bonnet with vents in and a hole for a carb if anyone wants it
Think about it, think about it again and then do it.
