nope but you will need one as every pulls out infront of you, so you might as well put one in whilst your doing it.

fit a really loud one off a train or something for a laugh.

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Ok, not the lightest of horns....and you would probably go deaf after using it a few times in a seven.

But.....

....it would be amusing

I'm deaf from the carbs which are just about three feet in front off me with a X-flow, so a noisy horn wouldn't make any difference.

Can you still get the musical horns which you could get in the 80's??

I think the legality depends on the age of the car they are fitted to (like a lot of things that have been banned over the years). ie if two tone horns would have been legal when it was new you would be ok. I'd be more worried about looking a complete tosser though

Air horns bring more problems than they are worth --- you have to keep the compressor lubricated, they can suffer from water ingress but the big problem is the considerable delay between pushing the horn button and the sound coming out.

Musical and two tone horns have been banned for nearly 40 years -- so no chance even on an age related plate.

SVA tester tested my horn as it was there. I have a tiny we thing off some scrapper cost nothing makes enough noise in town probably not enough on a motorway but not much short of a big air horn will! plenty of silly horns on ebay.

Caber Ahhogah!
