Neutral has disappeared When the engine is on and you go looking for neutral, its not there. Turn engine off and it's easy. What's likely to be causing this?

Has it always been like this or has it suddenly changed?

Not an uncommon problem on some bikes.

Always been awkward, only recently become difficult and then impossible. Will take a look at the clutch

Could just be some slack in the selector mechanism. Check the cable / rods first. Quite often if its too sloppy, youll never find the half gear.

Like everyone else suggests -
Clutch adjustment is the most likely issue.
