Cam fitting - Black Top Zetec

I have a 2.0 Black Top Zetec in my garage that came with the cams, cam belt and tensioner pulleys removed, and am now ready to fit a set of Kent cams & verniers.

With this in mind, has anyone got suitable step by step instructions for cam fitting from the 'stripped' starting point please Steve

The Kent cams should have come with timing instructions. Worth ringing them up if you don't have them

I have excatly the same setup as you. I have a blacktop ready to receive some kent cams and verniers as well as belt and tensioner change, hopefully this evening.

I'm intending to use the grooves in the camshaft ends and the locking pin in the flywheel to get ballpark timing. If nothing touches anything when I turn it over by hand I'll try starting - *eek*

I'll let you know how I get on...
