Well I made the jump at the weekend, and chose to take the angry grinder to my steering column. Thus, I now have a shorter column similar in style to w Westfield with just the boss and snap-off section protruding past the dash.

As such, I do have the old Sierra column switches and coweling surplus to requirements. Having looked at it, the screw hole at the top where the hazard switch sits has been superglued at some point (was like that when I bought it), but it hold to the column fine; apart from that, all looks good.

Before anyone asks, there's no loom with it, as I've ordered a bespoke loom from Premier Wiring, and was going to crimp-terminal and heatshrink the ends where necessary. Sorry!

I've seen people ask silly money for the bits, but I think £20 posted is reasonable, yes?

Can you let me know if it is for the adjustable or non adjustable column.

Also if the Hazard switch is round on top of the cowl?

Items came off the adjustable column, although I'm not sure what the difference is, as the adjuster lever is on a separate unit. Care to enlighten me?

And yes, the hazard switch at the top of the left hand indicator unit is round.

The cowling I had was for an adjustable column, so had a big slot underneath for the handle, I am now after one without the slot..

The different metalwork in the brackets meant the clamp inside the cowl was slightly different diameter.

I believe although not seen one that there were different versions of switch gear, some possibly every early had a squarish hazard switch, but can not confirm that.
