100k miles when left the donour sierra - at which point the valves were ground, new seals, cam belt, gaskets etc. Since then it has done 2k in our indy with no issues, including the run to le mans.
The engine comes with a choice of carbs. Currently fitted are ZX9R's (40mm) on a stainless manifold. The jets are drilled and have been set up on a wide band lambda, however the carbs could perhaps benefit from balancing - its been too cold for us to get round to fine tweeking.
Alternatively the engine had twin dellorto 40's which can be sold with the engine instead. These were set up at Bogg Bros where the engine achieved 110bhp@wheels (130bhp fly).
I must admit, the 40's were good, but the ZX9's have a tad more driveability and I'd say a bit more torque.
Also included will be the alternator, starter,flywheel, clutch, etc. Basically a full engine package, bar the exhaust manifold. The sump is shortened to give ground clearance.
The engine can be seen running and passengered in our car.
Excellent runner all round, £400 ono.
