A technophobic friend of mine called by and asked me to put a couple of items on eBay for him.

One is a 3.9 V8 EFi engine including gearbox and all anciliaries. Ex Range Rover which was terminated by chassis rot. Apparently it ran sweet as the proverbial nut before it was removed and the vehicle was scrapped. He kept the engine because it was so good, but after spending 2 years as a large door stop, he has decided to get rid.

I thought I would offer it here before dropping it in the Bay of Thieves. Apparently someone told him it was worth £150.

£150 is a good price, so good even I would struggle to haggle. Shame it's 200 miles away or I would have it.

Does sound good -we were offered similar engine, that needed head gasket doing, a good while back for that money!

That a good price does it have the Rad with it?

I'll have it for 150 if we can collect next weekend.
