I bought this car last summer with a plan to run it for a year then turn it into my donor for my next project , I put a new roof on it and a few new parts here and there. Change of plan now means its for sale.
This car is a 'five yard stunner' as it looks really clean and shiney but closer inspection reveals a few scratches and some rust starting to come though (a general problem with older MX-5).
Went through MOT yesterday with some welding on the inner arches.
The good news is that it is mechanical excellent, goes stops ans handles like an MX5 should. Interior is very clean with very little wear on the seat bolsters that can blight some cars.
Might be too good / expensive as a donor but you could easily run it this summer if you wanted to then sell rest of the car you dont need for your project. Roof would sell for £300.
