Is Scootz your middle name?

Moonroof - so only for driving at night?

Maybe we are related? Who knows....

Moonroof was an option, big glass sunroof that lifts out and stores in the boot.

If so, then you obviously got all the brains in the family!

Oh how I wish I had the money for this...

A car I've wanted ever since my Gran Turismo (i.e. GT1) playing days... Good luck with the sale, it's a tidy example for that money!

flak monkey - 12/7/11 at 12:45 PM

Thanks, yep thats the reason I bought one. Always fancied one since they were the best car on Gran Turismo

Its good, practical (big boot and rear seats big enough for kids) not too thirsty (about 28-30mpg on a long run) and the insurance is cheapish depending on your age.

There is hardly any that are in such nice condition and where everything works. Also very few that havent been modified and thrashed, theres no oil in the inlet pipes which is a sign of turbos going (easy check on these cars) and it doesnt use any oil at all (never topped it up apart from oil changes)

The only bad bits are that it needs a new aerial, £30 for a good second hand one, and a few very minor marks in the paint. But for 16 years old its immaculate.

Bits are also suprisingly easy to get, and quite cheap if you know where to look.

Also on pistonheads

Can provide a condition reference from a GTO specialist who carried out some work on the car a couple of weeks ago too.

would love it too. Impressed by the mpg figures, my 300zx was also a 3litre twin and it got 8mpg on the only time i measured it!

It'll certainly drop down a lot lower if you drive it hard. On a quick blast it will average low 20's

Don't remember that being the standard Torque figure on a GTO?! Isn't that enough to restart a dead star?
