We're selling our trusty estate - a silver Mercedes C250 TDi which has a Sport pack from new. I bought it when it was 2 years old and have had it ever since. Its an R reg 97 car.

She has around 135,000 miles on the clock and has been used for touring, the school run and towing. She has never let us down and is a great starter. She has been carefully serviced and that has paid off in terms of reliability.

She has a little rust grinning through the front arches, one spot on a wing - we had the boot resprayed about a year ago.
The a/c needs a re gas and whilst she is not a new car, we have been impressed with the quality of the engineering - she is wearing well but has the usual scars for a car of this age.

During the last service, one of the glow plugs snapped and the garage said that it will still start easily on 4 cyls - we didn't believe them but they were right - it started first time through last winter including the heavy ice and was the sole car over that period. The glow plug light goes out when the engine is warm.

She's taxed until the end of November and the MOT expires in March 2012

With a change in schools, our requirements have now changed so we are reluctantly putting her up for sale. We're looking for £1,150.
