I currently have an mk1 mx5 which I am looking to upgrade. Unfortunately it needs a little welding on the sills and new wing (both of which I could do) , however I was wondering if the car may be of interest as a donor to someone, as I don’t really want the hassle of sorting the above . The car is a British racing green 1.8 IS model. It was built in 1995 and has 78,000 miles on the clock. It is taxed and tested until the end of October and mechanically very good. The mileage seems genuine looking at the mot history. The car is fitted with the more modern seven spoke 14” alloy wheels, the momo airbag steering wheel, stainless sill plates and speaker surrounds. The car has a Sony cd player and jbl component speakers. It also has the original air box and a ramair air filter. The car has never missed a beat in the last year.
I plan to do an oil and filter change prior to it going (magnatec 10/40 and Mazda oil filter). I also have new Bosch spark plugs.
The car body work is reasonable but by no means immaculate (will email pictures to those who want them)
