Honda VFR 400R NC30

40k KM - Equates to about 25K miles.

Rebuilt over last winter, everything is either new or refurbed, has done about 600 miles since.

HPI clear, will provide proof. Had 12 months MOT and Tax in July. Has had a serious amount of time and money spent on it... no doubt there will be some things I'll forget but here goes! Lovely bike to ride and surprisingly quick, genuine reason for sale - I'm doing a lot of commuting and I'm not the lightest or shortest of people plus I have a bad wrist so it's not ideal for my use.

ZXR upside down forks and clamps conversion - Forks have new seals and oil

GSXR clip ons & levers - more comfortable than std

Titax fork adjusters

GSXR1000 Tokico six pot calipers/RC30 front discs & stainless disc bolts (The discs cost £220 .. a side!) Brakes are awesome. Rear caliper refurbed, new disc 600 miles ago.

NC35 17'' rear wheel - Much more tyre choice available over the STD 18"
Samco hoses

New brake pads

New DID chain + Renthal sprockets/Titanium sprocket bolts + s/steel nuts

Fitted with Bridgestone BT090 tyres 160 rear.

Pillion seat cowl.

Gilles Rearsets - Adjustable, great to use and bloody expensive

CNC adjustable brake/clutch levers

Showa CBR600RR rear shock resprung to suit the NC30, much better than the standard unit.

Yamaha R1 Regulator - The standard ones fry themselves.

Yamaha R6 battery

Valve clearances all done

TSR Stainless Steel Half system exhaust with ART end can. Sounds great.

Rejetted carbs to match exhaust mods/carbs balanced

Ignitech programmable ignition, set advance/retard/rev limit etc and removes any speed limit. Other functions which I'll never understand too...

Tank professionally resprayed & New fuel filler

New fairing

New R&G crash bobbins which bolt through off the frame and engine mounts

MPH speedo dial

Carbon fibre clock surround

Carbon Fibre yoke protector

Carbon fibre exhaust can hanger

HRC Tank pad

New oil/filter/plugs about 600 miles ago

New Aluminium fabricated Radtech radiator - these go crusty on the NC30s, as you can imagine for a 21 year old bike and they can overheat as they run quite warm anyway. Runs cooler with this rad, rad is also 30% larger than the STD one - Again, not cheap. Top rad is in excellent condition.

New Antifreeze water putoline premix when rad changed - Fan all works as it should also.

New mirrors

Airblade double bubble smoked screen - also comes with new std clear screen... the airblade one has got some stress cracks in it that can be seen under light just from motorway riding I'm assuming. Still looks good and like I say comes with a spare.

Pro-bolt fairing and screen bolts

Aluminium fabricated screen/nosecone frame

Braided goodridge front brake lines

Comes with new renthal 14t front sprocket, common mod, never got round to fitting it. The bike still has the standard gearing at present.

I may update this list as I'm sure I've forgotten some stuff... but you get the idea! The bike goes very well and handles like a dream, something they are renowned for and this has been made better. As I've already said, everything mentioned about has been carried out in the last 600 miles, these aren't mods that it has accumulated over a long space of time. This bike is like new, even had new keys cut!

Will come with rear paddock stand which again... is new! Also if you wish to track it I have another set of fairings that can go with the bike.

It is advertised elsewhere, by all means message me with any reasonable offers. Daft offers will be ignored, as you can see a lot of time and effort as well as money has gone into this bike. I can't see this kind of bike ever going down in value, I will be sad to see it go.

Cash on Collection. No test pilots.

If you require anymore info, just ask!

£2500 ONO

Why are you changing it so soon!?

Bad left wrist from when I broke it years ago

When I'm moving it's great and it never bothers my right wrist, but in traffic riding to the centre of Manchester everyday it's killing my bad wrist.

Still much comfier than the CB500 I learned on though!!
