2001/Y VW Golf 1.9 TDI - £1200 o.n.o (CW11)
BigMac - 10/3/12 at 06:11 PM

Hi All

Offering for sale in Sandbach, Mrs BigMac's 2001/Y reg VW Golf 1.9TDI in Black (with Towbar)- after £1200 o.n.o.

Please feel free to call me on 07718992574 or drop me a PM if you're interested!

Mrs BigMac is changing her car at the end of the week, so we need to get the current one shifted. It's an ideal 'locoster' run around complete with Towbar, full Service History, MOT/Tax until February 2013 and all four tyres were done in December last year.

Overall condition is very good, the paint is ageing a little but there's no visible rust patches. Interior is clean and everything works, the trim on the door handles has worn but it's not affected them functionally.

Pictures are in the post below...

Particulars

Tax: 28 February 2013
MOT: 24 February 2013
Mileage: 101,000 miles
Service: Full, last Service was carried out 21 February 2012
Owners: 2 (Owned by the family since new, Mrs BigMac is the second)

Bad points

* Black paint is showing it's age a little, nothing a good polish wouldn't sort out!
* Boot lid has a small dent in the roof (hasn't broken the paint)
* Dent on the O/S Rear arch (hasn't broken the paint)
* Control for dash brightness and headlamp angle has come loose from the dash, but still works (we still have the piece that comes off, so it's an easy fix, just not had time)
* CD Changer doesn't work (radio is fine though)

Interesting points

* Comes fitted with towbar (ideal for towing the racer to the track!)
* Massive folder of service history and receipts
* Front discs are looking a little worn but won't need changing for a couple of thousand miles yet

If anyone's interested or has any questions, please feel free to call me!

Thanks,

Ben.

Hey Dan, it's the 90 bhp one. Still pretty torquey and pulls nicely through the gears! I'm going to do some pictures tomorrow so keep an eye out :-)
