fs: BMW M-Sport alloy wheels
ChrisLeary - 5/5/12 at 12:49 PM

Afternoon all,

My brother-in-law is getting rid of a set of BMW Motorsport alloy wheels. They are 17 x 8.5in with a pcd of 4 x 100. They do need refurbing, but I thought they might be of use to someone.

He's open to offers as he's not sure what they're worth.

They're in the Tamworth area.

Cheers,

Chris

Are the 8.5 all round? They come in two sizes and are normally staggered, the larger size is quite desirable in BMW circles.

What car did they come off? I'm guessing an e30 as the later ones are all 5 x 120 stud pattern.

Never Seen that wheel in 4 stud before.

I'm quite sure they're all 8.5in wide.

Yes thats correct they are from an E30. I've never seen them in a4 stud either.

Regards,

Chris

They aren't genuine thats why you dont see them often

Really? He bought them from a bloke who took them into the place he worked, he wanted the tyres removed so he could get them melted down, so he offered to buy them.

They're fakes then? I'm sure he'll be over the moon when I tell him that!

ATB,

Chris

im almost certain they are from an E36 not an E30

ive never seen those wheels on an E30

Yes they are replicas mate, E36 is 5 stud.

sdh2903 - 6/5/12 at 03:52 PM

I prefer replica, fake sounds a bit harsh

But yes they are replicas, they were only standard fit on e36 M3, which are 5 stud.
