Bike Engine Chassis forsale
fifty50 - 15/7/12 at 12:18 PM

I have a Chassis which is 99% completed forsale
I was building this as an ultra light weight track car with a ZX9 engine weighing less than 360 KG in total, but haven't the time to complete it.

The chassis requires about 6 to 8 more welds ( the odd part is still just tacked) but every thing is just about done including brackets, supension pick up points and seat brackets etc

I designed it around the Dominator/MKGT1 dimensions with a rear bike engine on a chain drive and will run on MK wishbones, ( I think I might even have a couple that can be copied)

The running gear would be sierra front uprights, Sierra outer hubs, Escort fiesta inner jonts and eith a Fiesta or Quaiffe diff.

It could be panelled up as is in aluminium or have a GRP body, I still have the mould for the Nose cone I was going to fit.

Although Its been made to take The ZX9, it could easily be changed to take other bike engines such as firebllade, R1, ZX12 or a busa, although for the bigger engines it may need a couple of tthe chassis rails bracing around the diff pickup area
I'm clearing my shed out so it has to go and I only want £200 so it would make a very quick and cheap track car for someone

you could easily put the car on the track for under £1200

Will do.

It might be a little while - I've got to get the other projects finished first.
Although I will be putting a 'Wanted' advert on for the bits for it shortly

Picked the chassis up from Paul ( bloody nice bloke who knows his cars )

Looking forward to getting stuck into it and all the head scratching it will bring.
