What's the bit on top of the upright?

daniel mason - 7/9/13 at 08:13 PM

looks like a speed sensor to dan!

rdodger - 7/9/13 at 08:26 PM

That's what I thought. Are the magnets fixed to the wheel?

Sorry to go off topic but I have been moving my speed sensor today from the prop to the diff flange.

daniel mason - 7/9/13 at 08:45 PM

the front wheel is the best place in my opinion as when yo spin the rears with it on the diff/prop/rear wheel it goes crazy!
and your more likely to do that than lock the fronts. especially on the road! my old caterham was on the front but not on the outer edge of the rim!

hopsky1 - 9/9/13 at 06:00 PM

yes speed sensor.
