FS: Quaife Alloy Case for a Ford Type E (Rocket) Box
scootz - 26/5/14 at 05:03 PM

Was sold to me as a Quaife Type 9 alloy case, but I changed direction and sold it on as it was described.

Six months later I'm told that it wasn't for a Type 9 after all... it's a Type E / Rocket Box case!

So I've refunded the chap who bought it from me, but the silence from the chap I bought it from is deafening!

Oh well... nevermind.

So it's back for sale (and has been properly identified by Quaife!). Price dropped... £250 please and I'll include UK delivery.

Just clearing some space!

Would PX against an alloy Type 9 case, or for a complete Type 9 (standard, Quaife, or Tran-X).

I also have 2 alloy C20XE bell housings - one for a Rocket box and the other for a Bullet box. Anyone interested?

Bellhousings all gone.

Quaife case still available.

NO REASONABLE OFFER REFUSED!

I have an Alloy cased BGH E8 Type 9 which is currently at BGH to be rebuilt.....Happy to discuss if this is something you would be interested in Scootz

The Knobs - 16/3/15 at 07:55 PM

I would be interested in the E8 possibly

jeffw - 16/3/15 at 08:35 PM

Well....it is going to cost about £1000 to repair so I'd be looking for fair bit more than that.

what was broken then? I bought a new one in 2009 and wish i had kept it tbh, I thought the better option was a straight cut tran X in my SC Striker until it broke.

Its been conclusively wrecked by someone else. It would be a new gearbox by the time it comes back to me.
