I don't know what brand this is as there are no markings that I know of. I bought it from an old gent from the next street in the village a few
years back. I'd imagine from the design that it's quite old. I've been using it for taking out lips from brake shoes, turned a
gearknob, modified pulleys, lots of basic jobs like that. In the pic below you can see a 60cm rule to the right hand side as a size reference. Between
chuck and tailstock is around 75cm, there's a hole through the chuck for longer bars. There are about a dozen misc cutting bits, most look to be
home made and all could do with sharpening (or getting a set of new bits) It has some thread cutting gears included, and the thread cutting part
engages - I've never needed to use it though. The on/off switch is old, it works but there's a knack to using it.
The stand unbolts from the main bed, and the motors mount unbolts from the bed (I made this mount - the previous owner used a brick ledge in his
outbuilding to mount the motor to but as I rent I didn't want to drill/modify the walls!)
Thread cutting gears + larger chuck
Center of the chuck to the bed is approx 5 1/4", but as you can see in this pic there's a section that can be unbolted to give an extra
inch
Could be picked up with an estate with the seats down (that said, I could fit it all in a '97 vw polo with seats down, was just a bit awkward)
£100

If you can wait until I'm less busy in two weeks time, I'll have that!
very temped, and i'm in leicester this week too... oooh decisions...
what is the length overall, would need to check that it fits in the garage
Length is around 145cm. I'd rather sell to someone that can collect sooner than 2 weeks to be honest, got a hell of a lot of stuff to
sell/sort/get rid of. If it's still here in 2 weeks though...
I'll pop into the garage in a bit and check dim's
