My neighbour has asked me help him sell his lovely MX5. He's a retired engineer and it is mint. However I am not sure now is the time to sell. Would he better off waiting until the spring?

He will be able to command more money for it in spring when there is more demand / desire for convertibles...... however, on the flip side....... if he waits until next spring he will probably need to then put a new MOT on it, keep it insured in the meantime, and also the car may deteriorate slightly in over the winter.

Why not put it up for sale now and see how it goes? Cost nothing to advertise it on here, and even only £15 for an ebay advert.
