I used this with an E36 328 engine, but it will no doubt fit others, M12x1.5 thread on adaptor. Bevel of the gauge could do with touching up with some black paint, otherwise it's fine.
The adaptor can be fitted e.g. where the oil pressure light sender screws in, and then the oil pressure light sender goes into the end of the adaptor (it's already got a BMW pressure switch screwed in which will come with it).
