It's in fantastic condition. Good hinge, no dead pixels - really tidy machine! I lost the charger for this laptop but I'm providing a brand
new one with this laptop. This is reflected slightly in the price.
I'm looking for £130 plus post and packing (unless you'd like to pick it up from me - I'm near StoneHenge in Wiltshire)

Last one is a Fuji Lifebook Laptop. I'm not sure on age but it's in fantastic condition (the best out of all 3!). I would guess about 5
years old?
This is a mini laptop (or sub notebook) The cup is shown for scale and NOT included (I love that cup...) It’s VERY lightweight and easy to hold with
one hand. There’s NO CD or DVD drive but it’s easy to install software wirelessly or with USB memory key.
Hardware:
Intel PIII 700Mhz
PCMCIA Wireless
20 Gig HDD
I/R (infrared)
OK battery - but easy still to buy spares (about 1 hour of heavy use)
Dock included
Original (but tatty) box
This laptop has a trick up its sleeve - its touch-screen!! You can use your finger or the stylus included. The laptop has PIN security too but I’ve
never enabled it. This laptop is “nipple” driven – not touchpad. This may or may not be your preference!
This is a VERY complete system. It includes modem travel pack, software, manuals, box, leads, dock, and floppy drive...The whole lot!
Software:
Windows XP SP2 installed but Win 2k COA on bottom of machine and Win2k re-install CD included.
OpenOffice - latest version
AVG Free
All latest patches and updates
It's in fantastic condition. REALLY Good hinge, no dead pixels - really tidy machine! Touch screen is amazing!
This is an older machine but in such good condition and the touch screen is unique!
I'm looking for £70 plus post and packing (unless you'd like to pick it up from me - I'm near StoneHenge in Wiltshire)
Chargers are included with each laptop and software where stated.
Any questions – drop me a U2U!

I hate this to sound rude but I'm not open to offers I'm afraid. I have priced the laptops cheaply to help out fellow LCB people. I hate to
see people trying to make silly profits or making money out of my goodwill. Please don't sell the machines on for profit - It's not what I
intended and I'd put the machines on EBay if I wanted maximum cash!
Happy to take more photos - I'll do that after tea! These are photos of actual machines - not library photos. Happy to take up closer detail if
needed.
Thanks all

Just awaiting confirmation on the last laptop but it would appear they're all sold now.
So sorry to those who've missed out.
I'll do my best to keep in contact with those who've contacted me just a little too late, just in case more laptops become available!
Thanks all
Bah!
Any infomation on where these come from, and when you might have some one (am i right in saying it was you selling simular laptops last time)
To my mind this is the way to buy a laptop, assuming you dont need blistering hardward perfomance, and the Dells are as good as any out there.
I recently bought a IBM T30 for £100, minus £45 when the courier slightly chiped the case.
- For £60 is a dam nice laptop, and in hardware terms is equivlent to my desktop. Which i also bought second hand for £200 around four years ago
now.
Daniel
Hi DHutch -
To be honest it's difficult to deal in second hand IT equipment now. Many people see the £299 laptop in PC World and don't want second hand
compared to new. It's only the slightly wiser buyer that knows the £299 laptops are not built to last and although seem like a damn good spec
they have so much bloated software on them, they're slow out of the box!
These Dell D505's are still damn good laptops. They'll run Vista fine (should you want) but run XP at a cracking speed and no-one needs any
better than that.
I was in Tesco this morning to see they now sell Dell too! They sell a Dell desktop for £399 and it's a DAMN good spec. Monitor (19" Digital
TFT Wide) is another £140. It's still cheaply made but Dell have sewn up the market - cheap machines, reliable and now easy to get hold of
too.
Dell's business range (of which all my machines are - Inspiron and Dimension are the home brands) of the Latitudes and Optiplexs are excellent
machines and built to last. I've no doubt these machines should outlive the £299 models despite their age!
I will get some more in from time to time. Have lots of bits at the moment and not any good complete machines so just waiting to get more stock in.
Second and is the new "new" as far as I'm concerned. We're such a throw away society and it's nice to give older things a new
lease of life!
Sorry to those who've missed out,
All the best
Michael
I can see why you like your cup. Mine is also lightweight and easy to hold in one hand.
Darren - Spooky small world! Do you think our cups may know each other?
Hmm...cha...It sorts all the problems out!
Thanks Michael, just received my Dell Laptop this morning, over the moon with it,it looks like a new one, quality, and everything on it works as it should, great value for money.I know my daughter will be very please with it,cheers Paul.
Thanks Paul - Really pleased you're both happy with it!
All the best
