Who wants a banger ?
zilspeed - 26/9/08 at 12:57 PM

Fed up with air con, remote locking and street cred ?

Well, here's the perfect antitode.

In finest East European tradition, here we have an authentic Skoda Felicia - complete with the alloy block engine and - glory be - a timing chain.

The cheapest of this age age with this mileage on Autotrader is £695, so hopefully £400 sounds ok. That's with the CD changer, the rent on the screen and the completely decadent central locking and power steering.

From an orderly queue etc....

Mr Whippy - 26/9/08 at 03:59 PM

I've seen what it looked like afterwards, there was no engine or gearbox fitted. Landed upright in desert and ended up completely flattened about an inch high!

50 quid without the CD player?!

russbost - 26/9/08 at 06:50 PM

zilspeed - 26/9/08 at 06:59 PM

You are aware of the price of scrap these days I take it......

Take the wee all you want, if i needed cheap wheels I'd be happy with it! A neighbour of mine runs them, gets 40mpg, pretty reliable, parts are dirt cheap & you're never worried about it coming to harm in some way.
