Fury scuttle to cross member dimension
Hi ladies and gents, can anyone help with a little measurment.
I am looking at fitting an adjustable column to my fury, but I need to know how much space is available for the locking mechanism in cockpit side of
the scuttle.
The dimension I would like is the internal distance from the scuttle to the cross member that is used to mount the instrument panel onto.
If I cannot get the adjustable column in, do any of you fury drivers have any comments about the steering wheel position?

I don't have the measurement to hand (cars at work) but the sierra adjustable column does fit. I know because I've got one.
I Had to modify the lever by turning it 90' so I could reach it and I had to lock out the fore/aft movement as it wouldn't work with my
paddle-shift.

Thankyou for the info and the photo.
Thats very encouraging, but are you not using any of the Sierra switchgear / ignition / steering lock assembly as it looks like the column is
inverted.

No, I've not got the Sierra switchgear or steering lock. In order to mount my paddle shift, I replaced to casting with a turned ally'
cylinder made to fit the column tube and take the Sierra top bearing, held in place with a couple of grub screws. Switches are all on the dash.
Yes, it is inverted (I'd forgotten I'd done it) but didn't matter to my set up. It was just the way the bracket on the frame was
set. Think it could be done the other way with some modification.

Thankyou again for the excellent response.
I will go ahead with modifying the column front mounting plate by cutting a slot down the middle for the adjuster bracket to fit and weld some extra
metal to the remaining pieces for support.
