FS: Ted Simon Jupiter books 'Long Way Round'
I have for sale a couple of books that may interest the Locostbuilders.
First is Ted Simon, Jupiters Travels. The book that inspired Charley Borman and Ewan Mcgregor (and hundreds of others) to go round the world on a
bike. What made Ted's journey so inspirational is that he did it in the 70's on an old Triumph with no support crew or backup. He was in
his 40's on this journey and it took him about 4 years and he was held prisoner for a short while. An amazing book, well worth a read. My copy
is soft back, I think its either a 1st or 2nd edition, but good overall condition, looks like its only been read a handful of times.
The second is Dreaming of Jupiter, again by Ted Simon. If you had been round the world what better way to write a follow up book than to do it all
again? This time at the age of 72 on a BMW GS, but still with no back up crew. Ted tries to follow roughly the same route, meeting some of the same
people. This time the trip takes just over 2 years. If you have seen Long Way Round then you would have seen the guys meeting Ted on his journey.
This book is Hard back and is in very good condition.
I would like £12 for both including postage (sent recorded)
