Mgb Gt tax exempt for spares or re-shell

I have finally got around to deciding to sell my Mgb after it has sat neglected for the last 10 years. It is a 1970 Bgt and needs a new shell or more likely would make a good donor for a chrome bumper conversion to a newer car.It has decent but not perfect chrome bumpers and grill an alloy bonnet , wire wheels and overdrive box.It starts and runs but has no brakes and the clutch needs bleeding but does drive in and out of the garage but would need to be trailered away.
If any one is interested I can put some photos in my archive and decide on a price, I dont really want the hassle of E bay but it will go on there if not sold elsewhere in the next week or so.
Paul.

I dont want to give it away as it is tax exempt so worth at least a years tax to someone who wants to do a chrome bumper conversion to a rubber bumper car. What parts do you need? I may break it if I have to .

It would be a Crime NOT to put it back on the road. There are so few things in life that are Free. FREE ROAD TAX is not something that should be just thrown away. The Gov't get enough from us as it is. This is an opportunity to get something back from the gov't.

Restore it to its former glory.

I did a 1970 Landy, once,
Cost me £500 for the Landy with HUGE holes everywhere.
I got it back on the road and had it for 6 years free Road tax, before selling on to Fund the Viento.
6x £200 saved in Tax alone... Would you like someone to hand ytou £1200 free Gratis?

Take a look at this, and click on the Flash harry Picture, then scroll through and see how badly something can be, and it still be restored to its former glory. (Click on the photos as they can be enlarged to show the detail.

Oh, and I sold it for £3200.

You know it makes sense to restore it.

PLEASE DONT scrap or break it. Its a CRIME to do so.
