PAUL?!

Just picked up a Clio with a personal numberplate:
P16ULY
P16UL Y?

Not sure if this would be of interest to any Pauls on here?
Depending on the interest else where, I wouldnt be after much for it.

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Thats what the seller of the car said, (pig Ugly) but when I thought about it I only read piguly, and didnt naturally think pigugly. Where as when I came to see it on the car, the Paul be came more obvious.

For some reason the reg places seem to think its work loads, but Ive not registed the plate so must have been the previous owner:

http://www.cherished-number-plates.co.uk/cherished-number-plates/0/P16%20ULY.html

Very optomistic lol (and im obviously looking for a fraction of that)

Allthough I wouldnt never condone mispaced plates, I think its the first think i'd read if I saw it, and thats the important thing, you need to look at them simply and not disect it too much, its the first impresion that counts.

My first impression was P16 ULY, then PIGULY. It's a fair old stretch to make it seem like PAULY (IMHO, of course)

Also IMHO, anything that needs incorrect spacing, strategically placed bolts and a squint to resemble a name isn't worth the trouble.

£19,095? No way... divide by a thousand - say, round it up to £19.10 - and you might be nearer the mark

FAT30Y

About ten years ago I had the number FAT30Y, I got cheesed off being stopped by the cops , so put it up for sale in the Sunday times, best offer was £11,000, so me and the FATBOY parted company.
I bet it is worth a fortune now but I was happy with the money at the time.
Regards Denis.

Where did that go?
