FS: Stuart Taylor Locost
FYI guys and gals, my car is now reduced to £4500
For sale is my Stuart Taylor (originally supplied by Stuart Taylor Motorsport and currently produced by Aries Motorsport -
http://www.ariesmotorsport.co.uk), built by me from a rolling chassis, SVAd and registered in October 2005. Similar to the Caterham Seven Classic.
It's perfect for spring and summer blats, the occasional trackday and even for longer tours as it has a proper screen, weather gear and good
storage space.
It has Rover K-series 1.4 litre 16v (105 bhp) with Pipercross air filter, and a Ford Type 9 5-speed gearbox. It has an immobiliser.
There are adjustable coilover shock absorbers all round and Caterham 13" x 6" Minilite replicas in black with polished rims, with Yokohama
A048 185/60/13 tyres.
It has a Caterham windscreen and inside are a carbon fibre dash with full set of ETB electronic instruments, a removable steering wheel and
comfortable JK Composites lightweight seats.
The weather gear consists of a half-hood in a custom-made bag; removable half doors; separate side screen windows and alternative driver's side
Lexan wind deflector.
For longer journeys, it has a lockable boot box, a "glove box" behind the driver's seat and storage nets under dash and in passenger
footwell.
It has always been garaged and the mileage is currently c. 9,000 miles.
Taxed until September 2011, MOT until October 2011
I get around 37mpg and with only £125 road tax (2010) it makes it an economical as well as a fun car.

That is one of the nicest Locost's I have seen, really tempted to go to the bank and ask for some money.
