F.S. SWA Armoured Mains Cable 22.4 metres

Price added.
Description improved.

Steel wire armoured cable with 3 conductors and 22.4 metres long. The description on the casing is: 3x 10mm^2 BS5467 1998 The cable is the last part of a drum of unused cable.

It is ideal for putting a supply into a garage, a workshop or a heavy duty spur for a welder or compressor.
I am asking £30 for it.
Collection from near Worcester would be best, but plus £17 for carriage.

Cheers,

Mal

There is NOT such a size of cable as 9.2mm^2, but there is am awful lot of rubbish, fake cable about at the moment.
I would want to be sure that this complies with British Standards before using it to supply power to a garage that houses my pride and joy ( I have seen the result of a fire caused by dodgy wiring this week )!

give him some slack, its obviously 10mm cable if you allow it to be made to the minimum tolerances and then throw in some measuring error. About £80 in the shops i believe, though thats guessing at price rises since i last bought some.

I have added the price to the advert and used the data on the cable casing. It is shown as being 3x10mm^2. and to BS5467.
I have had the cable to about 5 years, so it is not the dubious stuff mentioned above.

MikeR - if you want this I can always pick it up from Mal and bring to the next meet to save you paying for postage. My drinks are much cheaper!
