Didnt really want to due to hassle and possibility of damage If there is no interest from people wanting to collect I may consider it after the weekend Who would I use to send it?

I always use: http://www.directcouriersolutions.co.uk/

They will ship any item up to 100x70x60cm and up to 25Kg in weight, next day for £12.90.

They also do good deals on shipping car wheels.

Tell them about the bent treacle edges!

I've sent radiators in the post - about £10-£13 absolutely no problems (Standard parcels)

Double layer of flat cardboard over the cores protects them nicely.

Courier will probably be an easier choice if you're bothered to wait at home all day for it to be picked up.

I'd be interested if you'll post it (after any previous interest of course!)
