Hi
got a 12 coming in next week, 2002 engine, loom ecu, t/bodies, reg/rec, basically complete kit. I am waiting on mileage details from insurance company but it should be around £1500 plus vat. If you want my honest opinion whilst the 12 kicks out some good figures, its a big heavy lump and the modern crop of 1000cc screamers are more than capable of showing both zx12's and busas a clean pair of heels and in general are a simpler install.
Our RR8 blade in Sabre was 5.5 seconds a lap faster than anything else last time out at Cadwell and the total maintenance for two seasons racing has been 12 oil changes, 12 filters and a clutch. Makes 172bhp and 84 ft/lb torque and revs to 13700 rpm
hope that helps
Andy

Hi David
we have been doing the RGB lads a package deal on this set up which effectively contains everything bar the exhaust which we can do but need the car to build it up.
Kit includes a complete engine pack
our own billet sump and baffle
billet swirl pot to accept stock in tank pump
prop adaptor or new drive sprocket for mid engine app
power commander usb 5
our own black box to defeat limp homes and run full power
electric water pump
Complete kit is £3800 plus vat and carriage
Stainless 4-2-1 system in tig welded mandrel bent s/teel to tuned length is around £650 plus vat
6 inch auasil packed race silencer in stainless £245 plus vat
I think thats it, if I can help just give me a bell on 01449 736633
best regards
Andy

From the 08 generation engine you can expect around 168 BHP for front engined and around 172 mid engine application, The best thing to do is give me a bell on 01449 736633 or 07906561838 so I can get a handle on the type of install, purpose and expectation, then I can give you a figure on a complete conversion, we have done loads of these but the price very much depends on exactly what you want done and any specific details. I will be on my mobile all day Sunday if that helps.
Best regards

Hi Andy

We spoke in the week re- accusumping a blackbird, looking at a few options one being engine replacement for a more reliable motor, how much is an R1 or blade kit and what constitutes a 'kit'

Cheers

Ash

Hi Ash
A basic kit from us would be engine, loom, ecu, reg/rec, carbs or t/bodies, air box. Effectively everything to get an install running. We do not include clocks or exhaust as unless asked for them because they add more cost and are rarely used.
A comprehensive kit would contain all of the above plus billet sump(if applicable) baffle plate, jet kit or power commander, clutch springs or diaphragm, prop adaptor etc
Price of R1 depends on model and personally I would leave the 07 onwards alone as there have been so many failures of this model. The earlier 5th is a better bet.
Give me a call and I will talk you through an install and costs
Regards
Andy
