2 lathes for sale
We have planned tosell these for the last couple of years but never really had a big push, we have sold 2 and have 2 left they come out of a school
workc shop and have ben wellmaintained and little used , proceeds willgotobuying a modern machine tomatchone bough 2 years ago
possibly of interest to people on here as don't want to get involved with e bay time wasters and due to weight collection from Carlisle only,
could get machine #1 over to Middlesboro/ Durham area in car boot
Having a clear out at work, all machines in working order:
1) Clarke CLM 300 little use , ideal for making spacers hose joiners, top hats , gear knobs etc Will do screw cutting Currently £450 with Vat off at
machine mart so £350
- 2) Denford Viceroy 3 phase not well known outside of colleges and schools but better than a small Boxford
had all armoured cabling renewed recently
£300 for machine there is no chuck with it, chucks etc available from Chronos, axminster tools and e bay etc
If you Google "lathes for sale" you will find a very good site which details history of Denford and includes these machines
These machines are priced to go rather than to make biggest price,- it isn't my money, the Denfords are about 50 years old so very solid but not
clapped out. Contact me directly if interested, can e mail pics as easier than posting on here

Looks like the Clarke is sold to a mate of someone on here- nothing like a word of mouth recommendation
So the only thing between me and a brand new £1200 machine is the slight matter of the afore mentioned Denford Viceroy had a few queries but nothing
has come of them
the chuck has gone but the machine is fitted with a four way tool post, there wil be some cutting tools and centres etc to go with it,
any queries get back, we can store until people are passing as not far off M6 and can help with loading this Yorkshire made classic training lathe
