FS: Small Lathe

Hi All,

I've got a small lathe which I have no use for. I see some on here like this kind of thing so I thought I'd let you guys have a look. It came from the 'old' BSA Factory in Birmingham. When this place closed down a friend of mine bought this.

This picture shows the basic lathe - there are also lot's of bits with it, they include;

1) Single Phase electric motor
2) 3 jaw chuck
3) 4 jaw chuck
4) Assorted gears for the screw cutting arrangement
5) Drill chuck on a Morse taper to suit the tailstock
6) Drive belt

ALL THE OTHER BITS CAN BE SEEN HERE; MORE PICTURES

It is NOT complete and ready to run. You will also need;

1) Some pulleys to fit to the motor shaft to put the drive belt on
2) a Tool post for the cutting tool
3) Some way of mounting the motor
4) a method for applying tension to the drive belt

This is an ideal way for someone with some ingenuity to get themselves a full metal cutting lathe cheaply.

I'm after £225 and you'll need to collect it - I'm in Studley, Warwickshire and work at Gaydon in Warwickshire.
