Sorry for hijacking Dan

Yes, well I have a good 08 engine which is going in the build to get me going which will allow me to sort all the real suspension, wiring, brakes etc, so thought I could have a play at building an s2400 at my leisure. I’ve bought a couple of dead and incomplete s2000 engines so any info greatly appreciated. I have a good block slight score and a better block which I’m having lightly honed to see if my mate can do it. If so I was gonna buy some h22a pistons @ 87.25 then get the block sorted to match. I realise I will need ecu for this engine, but want to get the build on the road fast and as standard as possible.

I'm going to be offering the engine up and sorting the mounts this week. Then it'll be onto the Electrics and removing everything off the engine that isn't needed, which I haven't got a clue, seems to be a lot of pipes that won't be needed and the secondary air thingy. I've decided I'm going to use an emerald ecu as it uses stock sensors and the existing engine loom can be converted, they provide a crib sheet on how to do it , its one of the cheapest ecu's too.
