Skoda Octavia 4x4 Estate, Cheap Tow Car or Load Lugger
I took this car as part ex against my 330d last week but almost imediately got what I was really after (Isuzu Trooper) so I'm selling it
straight on.
The car is a Skoda Octavia 4x4 Turbo Estate Elegance ES (a real mouthful), Basically a slightly jacked up 4wd Octavia with VW's eponymous 20V
1.8t engine.
Its done 155k and has been incredibly well looked after by the guy I bought it from (an older work collegue who is completely fastidious), there are a
few marks on the paintwork but its definitely not tatty and the interior is near imaculate.
Its got loads of history, an MOT until November, had a new Clutch/Flywheel recently and is just generally in great condition.
Has a flanged towbar with electrics, sunroof, climate control, original radio with CD multi-changer and loads of other kit.
In the week I drove it I averaged 35mpg
Would make an excellent Low-cost tow car or load lugger (huge boot) and would be an ace winter hack. Its actually a really nice car and doesnt feel
its age.
The only bad point is that none of the keys have a battery to work the remote central locking and the sensor for the key in the drivers door has gone
funny so it has to be locked using the key barrel in the passengers door or the tailgate. I suspect a battery for the keyfob would eliminate this
problem though.
As I've only had it just over a week I'm waiting on the V5 to turn up (should hopefully be this week) but is ready to go straightaway
when it arrives
Looking for £995 ONO, would defintiely do a deal for an LCB'er who collects it though.
