Jaguar XK8 for sale
I have now replaced my XK8 with one of these
So my daily driver for the last 3 1/2 years is up for sale @ £5000, I am looking to buy a cheap diesel estate car so a PX is possible.
The Jag has done 144,000 miles, 70,000 of these with me of which most were during my 150 mile round trip to work journey.
It is fitted with a sequential Vogas LPG conversion, this mixes 5% of petrol with the gas which lubricates the valves protecting the engine, with
todays fuel prices I get 250miles to £45 making this a cheap car to run. The gas filler is under the bumber by the factory towing hook, not banged on
the side with the tank in the spare wheel well.
8 months MOT, 7 months tax with recent new tyres.
"European Law now states that all light passenger vehicles registered on or after 1st August 1998 require a type approved towbar tested to
EC94/20 and towball with suitable D&S value. This is not retrospective and does not affect any vehicle registered before this date. Other vehicles
not subject to type approval are ~ commercial vehicles, car derived vans and motor caravans. "
The XK8 was registered in April 1998 this allowed it to be fitted with a detachable tow bar, this has been used to tow my locost to ~ 6 track days
only, which it has done with ease.
Anyway, some pictures, the car will be available in two weeks time for anyone who is interested, it has a plate that I need to transfer and will be
fully valated and polished.
Cheers Mark
